A rare property, with interesting and very important historical value, is for sale in the Old Town of Rhodes, a few meters from the famous Knights Street, with its Gothic buildings, which leads to the palace of the Grand Master.
The year of its construction is estimated in the 14th century and it is assumed that it belonged to a Spanish Knight.
This is one of the largest properties in the Old Town, with an area of 541 sq.m. on 4 levels and a garden of 285 sq.m. The garden is divided in two by the Byzantine Wall with two loopholes, which gives the property a historical reference, glamor and value.
From the fourth level (large terrace with roof) there is an unobstructed view to all parts of the horizon.
Its current owners, Greeks living abroad, bought it with the aim of turning it into an Institute for Visual and Environmental Studies.
Subsequently, the competent authorities issued a permit for the restoration of the property, as well as a permit from EOT for its conversion into a luxury tourist resort. However, the plan did not materialize, despite the fact that the complete and detailed restoration plans were already ready and approved.
These plans will be given to the buyer of the property in question free of charge.
